remove the top case,

carefully unplug the ribbon cable from the main board,

remove the 5 screws holding the board on,

remove the 2 screws from the back (where the audio plugs are), 

remove the 6 spacers from the vga/computer connectors.

unplug all the plugs (be very careful unplugging the 3 ribbon cables in the middle).

unlock the socket first by lifting up on the tab, then pull out the ribbon cables).

remove the emi shield from the edge (metal clip with 5 fingers).

remove the board!
